Rainy morning in Delhi


New Delhi, Aug 9 (IANS): Delhiites woke up to a rainy morning on Sunday and moderate rainfall was recorded at several places in Delhi and the national capital region.

Till 8.30 a.m., 30.2 mm rainfall was recorded, the weather office said.

The minimum temperature settled at 25 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.

"The sky would remain cloudy in the day. Rain and thunderstorms would occur in many areas of the capital," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.

The maximum temperature will hover around 32 degrees Celsius.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 98 percent.

Saturday's maximum temperature was 30.8 degrees Celsius, while the the minimum was 25.3 degrees Celsius, both a notch below the season's average.
