Modi in UAE on Aug 16-17, first Indian PM to visit in 34 years

Dubai, Aug 9 (Emirates 24|7): Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit the UAE on August 16 and 17, 2015, local media have reported.

While official confirmation is still awaited, ‘Gulf Today’ reported that preparations are under way for the visit.

PM Modi is expected to arrive in Abu Dhabi on August 16 and will visit Dubai the next day.

Besides meeting top political leaders in the UAE, Modi is expected to meet top leaders of the UAE business community as well, reports Gulf Today.

Energy security is expected to top the agenda of discussion.

Gulf Today also reports that a community reception is being organised on August 17 at the Dubai Cricket Stadium grounds.

Details of the programme and registration form for the participation are available at www.namoindubai.ae.

Modi will be the first Indian prime minister to visit the UAE after Indira Gandhi, who visited the country in 1981.

I found lots of people who write here on political revenge or religious hate mentality. Hardly few comments based on responsibility & truth.

It is not necessary to repeat the ruling tactics of the earlier government.

We have seen our Political leader & their ruling style since independence (1947).

Let us wait & see another 3 more years how the situation will be.

It is always better to strengthen the compound wall to secure our house instead of neglecting the boundary wall. Even though we have to spend some money to strengthen it. Coz, it is part of our own security. Good relationship with neighbour is always needed .

1. I hold indian passport not by choice and holding indian passport does not make me to write which is right about my country. What i have wrote is 100% right. Rapes happening every minutes and ministers and their family gettinh Z security.
2. I have told why india is not great country. Simple rapes happening and inhuman behaviours of so called great indians.
3. You didnt describe what is the reason to say india is great country. Due to its heritage sites build by british or moghuls??
4. I have 100 reason as i have travlled within India.
A) in your own town any part of india, for any reason you will be afraid to travel in night
B) people still dont know what is traffic rules and how to drive but know drink and drive and kill also evade law.
C) people killing people for god whom no has seen, also god says love everyone but you try to get a chance kill any matter
D. Cow is animal and some ediots still belive god and kill people for animal.
E. If there is human rights exists you should be never afraid to go to police station.
Not enough space to write the problems and no time to spare for which never change after 1000s of years. Modi or sonia or gandhi or any party can not change situation unless indians change...

It is good to make as many as possible foreign visits now itself, so that, who knows whether he would get a next chance to be the PM of India.

All politicians love foreign trips and foreign money to the national treasury chest.

Approximately, 40% of the foreign remittance to India is remitted by the people of Kerala origin.

The BJP is showing all the political tricks to discard Kerala the hub status of the Cochin airport was taken out. In Railway expansion, Kerala got hardly anything, but the Minister of Railway exhorted the people of Kerala to invest in Railway.

90% of the domestic rubber production of India is from the State of Kerala. Since the rubber price has plunged considerably like the oil price, Kerala will be faced with serious economic set backs in the days to come. But, Mr. Modi is allowing the massive import of Rubber from the Asian countries like Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore etc to entertain the big time business partners of his party through putting 11 lakh families of Kerala (about 50 lakh people) affecting all across Kerala, especially economically affecting the three districts in Kerala, Kottayam-Pathaanthitta and Idduki. Does Mr. Modi has any special concern for Kerala? But the BJP is working double hard to expand the party in Kerala.

Welcome move by our honorable PM Namo.., Good occasion for Bhakt's to celebrate & cheer (including me but not as blind Bhakt). We should wait & see what good it serves to the Hindustani Diaspora living in UAE.
Above all as much as US & Europe NRI's living in this part of the Islam Ruled countries (called GCC) are one of the foremost supporters of Hindustan's economy both directly & indirectly.

At the same time, taking cue from eminent business man Padmabhushan Rahul Bhajaj two days before while speaking about loosing sheen on the Namo headed NDA govt., among other socio/political/economic issues - on tax law/rules/provision on self declaration of foreign asset (@ 60% tax rate), expressed his concern due to clarity deficiency that this law/rule has all potential to use to harrass people of hindustan (honest or otherwise) with a vengeance.
I only wish the Namo team look into such apprehension & address to the betterment, b'coz one must try to see & understand the underlying object (other than curbing Black Money) who prepared this law (hopefully not align with Mr Rahul Bajaj's apprehension).
