Mumbai, Aug 10: Bhavani Foundation, started by businessman and social worker, executive president and managing director of Bhavani Shipping Services India Private Limited held their first blood donation camp at CBD Belapur V Time Square auditorium on Saturday morning, Aug 8 with the cooperation of Tata memorial hospital, Parel, Mumbai.

The camp presided by foundation founder-executive president Daddangadi Chelladka Kusumodara D Shetty was inaugurated by Ghansoli Mookambika Mandira trustee Anni C Shetty after lighting the traditional lamp. Businessmen Sanjiva N Shetty, CBD Bhaskar Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty Khandesh and others were present.

Foundation trustee member, social worker advocate B Mohiuddin Mundkooru speaking on the occasion, said that K D Shetty has become popular with his social work. "May the service extend through Bhavani Foundation", he said.

Another trustee member of the foundation, All India Tulu Okkoota president Dharmapala U Devadiga speaking on the occasion, said that the service of far sighted D K Shetty is praiseworthy.

Office bearers of various associations, Bhavani Shipping services office staff, friends and relatives and well wishers of K D Shetty participated in the camp. Doctors of the Tata memorial hospital said that nearly 97 units of blood is collected from nearly 300 donors. Tata memorial hospital doctor Dr Neelam Vandarkar congratulated the office bearers of the foundation.

Dr Joseph Sanal, Dr Pramila, Archana Kangorde, Rajendra Kopde, Mandar Gavde, Divyesh Rathod, Sagar Valmiki, Dinesh Sirsot, Avijith Kurane
and others were present. Foundation joint secretary Shikha K Shetty proposed Vote of thanks.
