New Delhi, Aug 11 (IANS): The first qualifying round of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz 2015 is all set to take place in IIM Indore on August 12, an official statement said here on Tuesday.

The 10-city inter-collegiate quiz competition is part of the Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week, organised by the Embassy of Sweden and partner companies to enhance the image of Sweden in India.

The week also celebrates the spirit and contribution of the Swedish innovator, entrepreneur and philanthropist Alfred Nobel.

The winners of the Indore round will represent the city at the Grand Finale to be held in New Delhi on October 16, 2015.

The Sweden India Nobel Memorial Quiz will be bringing together quizzers from across reputed colleges and institutes of the city.

Apart from Indore, the regional qualifiers will also be held in Pune, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Ahmedabad and New Delhi.

National winners will get an all-expense paid trip to Sweden, where they will get to visit head quarters of partner companies, universities and the Nobel Museum.
