Guy tries to kiss a girl forcefully, cop says kissing isn't molestation


Aug 11 (Agencies): After being harassed in broad daylight at the Connaught Place, when the victim approached the police to file a molestation complaint, cops refused to lodge her complaint and said that kissing isn't molestation.

Radhika P Singh, a friend of the victim, posted about the incident on Facebook and it went viral.
According to the post, when the victim was walking down the M block in Connaught Place, a man tried to kiss her forcefully.

She cried for help. The crowd over there nabbed the man and dialled up the police.
However, when police reached the spot, they refused to take down the victim's complaint stating that kissing isn't molestation.

Hindustan Times tried contacting the sub-inspector, but he didn't respond.
