Mumbai, Aug 12: The 62nd annual general body meeting of Bhandary Seva Samithi was held at Swamy Nithyananda auditorium, Sion west on Sunday August 9.

Seva Samithi vice president Vanitha S Bhandary and women's wing executive president Lalitha Bhandary were present on the dais. “As we need to look into community children's education and health concerns,
we need the cooperation of the members and the community members,” said committee vice president advocate R M Bhandary.

Former president of the Seva Samithi Balakrishna Puttur (Pune), women's wing secretary Rekha Bhandary Dombivli, Rukmaya Bhandary, Gurudas Bhandary, Vishwanath Bhandary, Venkatesh Bhandary, Sadashiva Gujaran, Sadashiva Moolkar, Prabhakar Bhandary Thane, Jaya P Bhandary, Rukmini Bhandary and several members were present. They expressed their opinions and suggestions on behalf of the audience and hoped that the projects of the associations may materialize.

Bhandary community members offered homage to the departed souls in the community and former president Dr A P J Abdul Kalam. The office bearers distributed scholarships and cash to talented students and wished them well.

Joint secretary Narayan Bhandary led the prayers. Honorary treasurer Ramesh Bhandary presented the previous year's annual income and expenditure account. Joint treasurer Shashidhar Bhandary read the
annual report. Joint secretary Purushotham Bhandary compered the programme and proposed the vote of thanks.
