Illegal cattle trafficking - slaughterhouse raided, offenders flee

Mangaluru, Aug 13: Acting on information provided by activists of a Hindu organization about cattle being illegally transported to a slaughterhouse, Ullal police raided a slaughterhouse at Chembugudde, Ullal on Wednesday August 12. They seized two carcasses of cattle and 11 live animals from the spot. Three accused persons succeeded in running away during the raid.

This is the third such raid to be conducted by the police during the last seven months. Brothers, M C Bava and M C Khader, who operate the slaughterhouse at Chembugudde, and Imtiaz, resident of Millathnagar in Ullal, fled from the spot, sensing the raid.

Activists of Kuthar unit of Bajrang Dal, who got information that cattle were being taken to Chembugudde slaughterhouse from the city in a pick-up van, passed on this information to Ullal police. The policemen conducted the raid, but could not stop the accused from running away in time. They took over custody of two dead and 11 live cattle, all of which had been huddled in one pick-up truck.

During every raid on this slaughterhouse during the past some months, the accused have succeeded in giving the policemen a slip. In the past too, the policemen had confiscated cattle and several quintals of beef from this spot.

    I think AlKabeer group should also sell the Beef in M'lore and other cities so that there will be no more Chaddi's nor these illegal slaughter houses problems in M'lore.

    The Pictures tells us the cruelty of present Situation.So Long slaughter houses are not legalized this Drama will continue.not here but elsewhere.Like brewing alcohol.Nobody bothered previously about Beef and cow slaughter.Only at present the Situation is more than bad.I am sure the Police must be enjoying this tonnes of meat they raided.

    The congress govt. had d that they will make India as NO. 1 beef exporting country in the world. Then Modi d 2013 that if he becomes PM he will reverse it. MODI'S PROMISE IS HAWA HAWAIIII. Now the latest USDA (US dept. of agriculture) statics report on various beef countries in the world:
    1. India exported 2082 metric ton
    2. Brazil 1909 MT
    3. Australia 1851 MT
    4. America 1167 MT

    I have no objection is Cow, buffalo and bullock are slaughtered in a professional way without causing any pain to the mute animal. But seeing the above pictures it is disturbing to note that these human beings are animals who have tortured the animals for their selfish needs. They should be put behind bars for life. As usual they will come out on bail and start their profession again. All this is done just to accumulate illegal wealth through illegal acts.

    Once people sell the animals then they can do anything with that, then why others are so serious about it?
    Every day there is Rape and Molestation and you have no words for it,but your boneless army is just behind the people who sell and consume beef.
    The whole world consume beef, and India is exporting beef, but why this restriction on poor people.
    Yes they are poor who eat beef, because mutton and fish is expensive .
    You are just getting upset on the pictures here because it shows few dead animals, but do you know there are thousands pictures on net showing thousands of buffalos killed as sacrifice and there are huge hundreds of cows slaughtered every day in Amul,Anand city Gujarat .
    Don’t just look at dead animals and get emotional ,this is the law of the nature. Do you hate them just because they are Muslims? What about whole world consume beef and you hate them too?

    what is the "information".. it is widely known to everyone, when a slaughter house comes up and cows getting stolen, who has done it etc. ONLY POLICE NEVER HAVE IDEA OF SUCH THINGS, for reasons unknown!     Why not issue them licensees.It is the responsibility of the DC and revenue department to provide them such licensees when these cases found very often.
    They slaughter because there is a huge demand out there.
    It is the responsibility of the revenue department to provide sufficient slaughter houses for every city.
    It has become joke now,where India is the top number one exporter of beef but Indians do not have beef to consume,or Indians are not allowed to consume.
    It is only Mangalore where we have this strange animals who don't allow the poor people from consuming beef.
    It is not only Muslims but Christians and huge populations SC ST and other backward classes need beef because it is cheaper compared to mutton or fish.
    The educated people should think and support their demand and create this awareness.
    What a joke that,though liquor is not allowed but beef is ample and not banned in Gujarat.

    Vincy, I fully agree with your comments. We are indeed surrounded by fools in every area. Justice is close to Zero, corruption is on the border of 100. Man is keep on loosing all the moral values and busy in accumulating wealth which will only help him to fly to the burning hell.

    When I was a child at this time of the year mangalore outskirt area was covered with full of green paddy fields. So blessed were the days man and animal working together for a living. Today v can see only concrete jungle. Until recently few were making minimum cultivation but they too discontinued now. When I asked the reason, their reply was - various types of wild animals attack their crops in the night.If they kill they end up in jail. Animals can destroy the crops but man cannot hunt them. Govt is not interested in controling the wild animals or giving solution to the farmers.

    SO IF THIS IS THE SITUATION WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE? THE ANSWER IS very simple.MAN HAS TO CHEW ONLY MOBILE PHONES, COMPUTERS AND CURRENCY. Oh what a tragedy....
    BECAUSE FOOLS AROUND!!!
