Kuwait, Aug 13: Famous singer and heart throb of millions Atif Aslam, will be rocking audiences in Kuwait on August 21 from 6.30 pm onwards at the Abdul Aziz Al-Khateeb Hall, Al-Arabi Club, Mansouriya accompanied by his whole troupe of musicians.
Atif will be belting out his most popular numbers as well as a blend of Bollywood chartbusters especially for his fans in Kuwait. Presented by Kuwait’s leading event organizer, the creative Indians association, 'Atif Aslam live in concert' promises to be the hottest event of the year.
For all his fans, Atif Aslam is well known as a singer, dancer, actor, and a bundle of talent all rolled into one. But what is interesting to know is that his first choice of profession was cricket! At one time, he actually dreamt of representing Pakistan as a cricketer. As a fast bowler, he was so good that at one stage he trained to represent his country in the U-19 World Cup. Singing just happened when his friends in college knowing his talent encouraged him to perform in public. This caught on and he recorded his first single 'Aadat' from his own pocket money. The single went viral and soon Atif was a household name.
Soon after, in 2004 he released his first album Jal Pari and there was no turning back. Doorie and Meri Kahani followed the success of Jal Pari and over the next three years Atif went on to record over two dozen blockbusters for top Bollywood movies including Race which got him nominated for the Filmfare Award.
Going from national to international stages, Atif has toured all over the world and continues to leave his mark on audiences time after time. And for sure we can’t wait to see him in Kuwait very soon.
