NDA marches to 'Save Democracy'


New Delhi, Aug 13 (IANS): MPs from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and its allies marched here on Thursday against repeated disruptions in parliament.

Senior ministers in the Narendra Modi government took part in the march from Vijay Chowk to parliament house.

Earlier, Prime Minister Modi met all the MPs from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and senior cabinet members in parliament.

The issues pertaining to disruptions in the house were discussed. It is believed that the government is mulling a special session at the end of this month.
