Mumbai, Aug 13: The Mangalore Catholic Cooperative Credit Society ltd of Catholic community leaders in Karnataka coastal origin functioning in the name of Model Bank Cooperative ltd has been selected for excellent bank award by Cooperative Banker's Association in Mumbai.




The bank has collected more than Rs 300 crore deposits and has bagged the third place in excellent banks award.

The award was presented by association president Dattaram Chalke in the programme held at Hotel Kohinoor Auditorium, Dadar west on Wednesday August 13. Model Bank CEO and general manager William Louis D'Souza, additional chief general manager Herald M Serrao, senior managers Zener D'Cruz and Hilary Mendonca received the award.

Model bank officials have said that the award has brought them immense joy. “It is an honor to the cooperation of the customers and workers in the bank,” they said.
