Mogaveers Bahrain:

'Mogaveers Bahrain' is a Community Association of 'Mogaveers', who are hailing from the coastal Karnataka State of Southern India. This Association was founded on 24th December 2004 with an aim to unite all members of the community living on the Island and to provide them with all possible succour to eliminate the nostalgic and psychological discomforts of life. The other prime objective of the Association is to serve the Community by helping the members living on the Island and back in hometown in every way possible. So, it's a home away from home for every Mogaveera.

Growth at Glimpse:

On the face of it, the 'Mogaveers Bahrain' has completed the 2nd year of functioning. But in socio-cultural terms, it has grown up much more than that. It is neither an exaggeration nor presumptuous to state that our Association has grown significantly with a legend of some distinguished feats to its credit.

A Glance at Yesteryear Activities:

During the past two years, our association has organized many quality programmes for the Community members and non-members on the Island and for the community members back in hometown. The range of activity includes; Cultural, Social, Traditional, Sports & Games, Charity Work, Competitions etc.

Felicitation of Meritorious Students, Medical Aid, Food Festival (Culinary Competition), Financial Aid to Needy Family, Variety Cultural Show, Religious Pooja Activity, Drawing Competition for budding kids, Story & Poetry  Competition for the Amateurs, Photo Competition, Family Cricket, Family Picnic, Annual Get-Together - are some of earlier year programmes which helped us to gain fame within and outside the community.

Projected Programmes:

Apart from the above mentioned programmes, we have a plan to add some more Charitable and Social activities to our yearly calendar of events. To name a few, constructing house for the poorest family, providing financial support for the education of poor students, providing financial assistance to the poor family or handicapped community members, disbursing sufficient amount of Medical Aid for the community members who are suffering from chronic diseases, providing Pension to the aged persons or disables, Felicitating the outstanding personalities of the community who excel in different field of activities etc.

Mogaveers' Cultural Gala-2007:

To fund the above projected programmes, we have planned to organize a 'Cultural Show' through which we hope to generate income, that may help us to make our dreams come true. The proposed show will be a blend of variety entertainments staged by the budding and professional local artists. Therefore, the Cultural Extravaganza which will be held on the 29th June 2007 at Papillon Auditorium in Gudaibiya will surely proved to be a joyous weekend filled with full of fun and joy for all those who will participate in this much awaited programme.
