3.6 kg of heroin found hidden in cabbages in Singapore


Singapore, Aug 13 (IANS): About 3.6 kg of heroin estimated to be worth more than 254,000 Singapore dollars ($181,585) has been found hidden in cabbages during an operation here, Singapore's Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) said on Thursday.

"The drugs were packed and hidden using a method not encountered previously," CNB said in a statement, quoted by Xinhua.

One suspected drug trafficker and three suspected drug couriers were arrested, the statement said.
