Will support Kashmir leaders: Pakistan envoy


New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS): Pakistan's High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit on Friday said Pakistan will continue to support the people and leaders of Jammu and Kashmir.

At a function here at Pakistan High Commission on the country's Independence day, the envoy said: "Pakistan will continue its full support to the people and leaders of Kashmir in their legitimate struggle to self determination."

"India and Pakistan must resolve the Kashmir issue," he added.

India and Pakistan are scheduled to hold the NSA level talks on August 23. Pakistan National Security Advisor Sartaj Aziz will fly to New Delhi to hold talks with his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval.
