Narendra Modi meets Indian workers in Abu Dhabi


Abu Dhabi, Aug 17 (Emirates 247):  The visiting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Indian workers based in the ICAD residential city in Abu Dhabi, in presence of Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and head of the honorary mission accompanying the Indian Prime Minister.

Upon arrival at ICAD, the Indian Prime Minister was received by Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Labour, Dr. Saeed Khalfan al Kaabi, XEO of ASCORP Holdings, senior officials and media representatives.

Prime Minister Modi engaged in conversation with the workers and thanked them for their hard work and dedication.

Al Kaabi said that ICAD residential city provides accommodation to 50,000 residents and has world-class facilities.

Raja Abdul Qadir, Director of Projects at Lulu Group, said that 2,500 of the group workers who live at ICAD find the safety, health and hygiene standards are at their best, in addition to recreational, sport and community facilities.
