New Delhi, Aug 17 (IANS): It was a humid morning here on Monday with the minimum temperature settling at 26 degrees Celsius, slightly above the season's average, the Met Office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy in the day. Thunderstorms or rain may occur in some areas," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 89 percent.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 33 degrees Celsius.
Sunday's maximum temperature was 34.6 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 25.8 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
