The Transporter: Refueled’ all set to release on 4th September 2015

Mumbai, Aug 17 (Media Release) : After 7 years since the last Transporter movie, the franchise's next action packed biggie reboot ‘THE TRANSPORTER: REFUELED’ is set to release in India on 4th September 2015!

After the huge success of the top grossing and highly billed Transporter series, the fourth add-on to the series is the much awaited THE TRANSPORTER: REFUELED which set to release in India on 4th September!

The Transporter series has set a high bar for action adventure, having delivered some of the most memorable action packed sequences in the genre. Fans will see new and fresh talent don the leading roles this time, taking the franchise ahead with a new spin and flavour.

The suave stylish and ‘transporter’ with swag Frank Martin (played by actor Ed Skrein), a former special-ops mercenary, is now living a less perilous life - or so he thinks - transporting classified packages for questionable people. When Frank’s father (Ray Stevenson) pays him a visit in the south of France, their father-son bonding weekend takes a turn for the worse when Frank is engaged by a cunning femme-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabonal), and her three seductive sidekicks to orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise and knowledge of fast cars, fast driving and fast women to outrun a sinister Russian kingpin, and worse than that, he is thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women out for revenge.

The Transporter Refueled features a new young cast starring Ed Skrein ( of“Game of Thrones” fame and also stars with Ryan Reynolds in the new superhero flick DEADPOOL), with Ray Stevenson (Thor, Divergent) and Loan Chabanol (Fading Gigilo). The cast also includes Gabriella Wright, Tatiana Pajkovic. Wenxia Yu, Noémie Lenoir and Yuri Kolokolnikov.

Director Camille Delamarre voices confidence that the latest installment, with its new leading man, revenge-fueled women, brutal street-fighting brawls and metal-bending chase sequences, will more than exceed audience expectations. “The Transporter Refueled is more than a reboot,” he says. “It’s a whole new story.”

As for the new Transporter himself, Ed Skrein takes unabashed pride in his character’s journey through the mean streets of southern France. “Rolling around on the floor wrestling and fighting with bamboo sticks and punching other guys with pads on and fighting in front of a moving car—the only time you want to be in situations like that is when you’re on a film set,” he says. “I’m a complete pacifist myself, but when it’s scripted that I get in a fight and win, it’s fantastic.”

Produced by Luc Besson (Lucy) and Mark Gao, The Transporter Refueled is directed by Camille Delamarre. The creative team includes writers Adam Cooper, Bill Collage and Luc Besson, director of photography Christophe Collette, composer Alexandre Azaria, stunt coordinator Alain Figlarz and production designer Hugues Tissandier.

For pan-Indian appeal, the film is all set to release in 4 languages: English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu in IMAX as well 4th September, 2015.
