Pinky Paras is back with a new album 'Mehndi'!


Mumbai, Aug 17 (Media Release) : The singer infamous for her rendition to the popular song 'Sawan Mai Lag Gayi Aag' is back in India

U.S based singer & pop-diva Pinky Paras is back with a brand new album. She shot to fame with her rendition of the hit Mika Singh song 'Sawan Mai Lag Gayi Aag' which was released worldwide and the singer enjoys a strong fanbase. Her upcoming album 'Mehndi' is an amalgamation of folk songs, qawwali, fusion, pop and dance numbers.

The versatile singer had done a lot of shows in US after the success of the first hit and on public demand, she is back in India with the new album for promotion.

Her album is being directed and produced by her daughter Ravjot Mehek Singh who is a filmmaking student from the prestigious New York Film Academy. Mehek has also conceptualized the video, which delves into the space age with aliens in flashy space outfits, and a corresponding storyline that reveals of their motive of arrival.

The music is composed by Vikram N Vikram.

She has performed in Virginia along with Gippy Grewal, Adnan Sami, Sujat Ali Khan and Babbu Maan.

Earlier, Pinky's version of Mika's song was released by Crescendo Music/Universal. Upon release of the song, her voice, music & the video were quite appreciated by the general public. As a result, she is flooded with offers. With music lovers praise and support, the song got viral & the result - half million views on the official video of the song.
