New Delhi, Aug 19 (IANS): It was a humid Wednesday morning here with the minimum temperature settling at 25 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
"The sky will be cloudy during the day. Light rain or thundershowers could occur in some parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Rainfall of 2.2 mm was recorded till 8.30 a.m. in the city.
The maximum temperature of the day is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 81 percent.
Tuesday's maximum temperature was recorded at 35.6 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature settled at 25.8 degrees Celsius, one notch below the season's average.
