Mumbai: Guv presents President’s medals to 50 police officers

Mumbai, Aug 26: The Governor of Maharashtra Ch Vidyasagar Rao on Tuesday August 25 presented the President’s Police medals for bravery and meritorious service to 50 police officers and police personnel at an investiture ceremony held at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Mumbai.






Special Inspector General of Police (Aurangabad) Vishwas Nangre Patil and Additional Commissioner of Police Nagpur Rajwardhan were among those who were presented the President’s Police Medals for Bravery. Three police personnel were awarded posthumously.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Minister of State for Home (Rural) Ram Shinde, Minister of State for Home (Urban) Dr Ranjit Patil, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) K P Bakshi, Director General of Police Sanjeev Dayal and Commissioner of Police Mumbai Rakesh Maria were present on the occasion.
