Udupi, Jun.20: Altogether six persons were injured when a speeding bus overturned before landing on a moving car at Pangla near here on Wednesday June 20 morning.
The accident occurred near Vidhyavardhaka School at Pangla near Kaup when the private mini bus plying to Mangalore from Udupi skidded, overturned and finally landed on a moving car.
As a result a couple who was travelling in the car and four passengers in the bus including the driver sustained injuries. Out of them four have been identified as A G Das (33) and his wife Jayaradhika (30) who were travelling in the car, bus driver Vijay Kumar and passenger Rama Kulal.
As a result of the accident the car has completely been damaged. However, other passengers on the bus have escaped unhurt.
