Kannada should be rejected as it not the language of Tulu Nadu. After the independence, this alien language has been imposed on us. And many foolishly speak in Kannada. First of all Tulu nadu should be created, kannada rejected and Tulu should be made the state language. Jai Tulu Nadu

Kannada literature belongs to all communities and all Religions. Writers & Poets of all communities have contributed to enrich Kannada literature.
So worship of Godess of any one Religion in Kannada literary conference is really an injustice to writers of other religions. All kannada literary meet should be devoid of any religious symbols.

Dear Sri Shenava,This is my personal view. Here, the the event Kannada literary conference is being held with the full support and assistance of Sri Durga Parameshwari Temple, its entire staff as well as local educational institutions which are managed by temple. The organizers too might have selected the place for this great even only on the suuport of temple as organising this type of event ensuring full support by temple/ locals too. Therefore, any event that is being hosted in Kateelu Kshtra will definitely commence invoking blessing of presiding deity Sree Durga and putting religious symbol of local prominence should be viewed in that context only.Hope readers will agree on this preposition.
