Mangaluru, Aug 29: An auto driver was found murdered inside his rickshaw at Natekal under Ullal police limits here on Saturday August 29.

Hidayath (28), a resident of Alekal was reportedly murdered on the night of Friday August 28. The incident came to light on Saturday.

It is said that Hidayath left from home on Friday at around 8.30 pm in his auto but did not return home. On Saturday late morning, he was found dead in his auto rickshaw near Sankesha in Natekal.

It is suspected that he was hit on the head with a heavy stone and a rod.

Hidayath, who operates his auto rickshaw in Thokkottu area, had divorced his first wife and married again.

Hidayath's brother alleged that a person named Farooq had threatened to kill Hidayath two days ago. Farooq is said to be the younger brother of Hidayath's first wife.

ACP Kalyan Shetty, SI Bharati and other police personnel visited the spot. Forensic experts were also called.

Ullal police are investigating.

The MLA who watched porn in the assembly was successful in monitoring peace and harmony in society.
If the current lawmakers take up that responsibility of maintaining peace and harmony in Mangalore and allow police to do their duty without interfering, then we will re-elect them again and permit them watch whatever they want wherever they want.

Or else we prefer the MLA who watched porn. After all watching porn is not a crime.
