Bengaluru: JD (S) to keep ‘safe distance’ from Congress, BJP-HDK

Daijiworld Media Network- Bengaluru (RJP)

Bengaluru, Aug 31: When Congress leaders were confident of striking a deal with the JD(S) to take over the reins of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), H D Deve Gowda and his son H D Kumaraswamy from JD(S) are playing a different type of politics. The duo is said to be keeping ‘all options open.’

JD (S) MLC T A Saravana, close aide of Gowda, informed chief minister Siddaramaiah on Sunday that the party will only take a final decision on the alliance on September 5 when a meeting of its MLAs, MLCs and corporators-elect is held in Bengaluru. The meeting which was scheduled to take place on September 3 has just been postponed due to unknown reasons.

The JD(S) with 14 seats has emerged kingmaker as it its support is crucial for both Congress and the BJP to come to power in BBMP.

HD Kumaraswamy who was ‘resting’ in a resort in Chikkamagaluru has returned to city to play his part in the mega drama. He has said that “We will keep a safe distance from both the parties.”

Some sources said that Kumaraswamy has directed his corporators to come back to city immediately. JD(S) has kept its corporators in a five-star hotel in Kochi, Kerala, to prevent poaching. Seven independent winning candidates are said to be lodged in a resort in Alappuzha, Kerala.

While the top leadership of the Congress and the JD(S) is to come to a conclusion on the alliance, the second-rung leaders have already come to an understanding on sharing power, it is believed.

Sources also said though the alliance is almost imminent, Kumaraswamy and his father want a better bargain as the BJP is also desperately seeking its support. The JD(S) wants the chief minister himself to request for alliance.

Once the Congress party high command agrees for all the demands of JD(S), the drama should see ‘the end’. The exact ‘distance’ JD(S) wants to keep from the Congress and BJP will be known by this weekend.

Both Kumbakarna and Deve Gowda are at the fag end of their political future.

They will be interested only to get big sums and not aligning with any party at this moment, or a combination of both money and power, which no one exactly knows right now.

Anyhow, Devegowda will play the pivotal role in the same..after intervention of modiji.
Will not allow congress to barge the opportunity.
What happened to that guy..I think Zameer who drove all of them himself to the airport. Failed completely.
Chances are more split within JD's in the coming days..some will join congress.

The One Mistake of JDS for the lust of power, Kumaraswamy made an Alliance government JDS BJP made him to sink his party and himself. Now he is thinking and trying hard to swim in many angles however how can he swim in a little water. For his suicide that water is enough.

At least now our state is controlled from communal forces. No churches, Mosques, Temples attacks. Pub attacks and once the communal forces tried their best and beaten a youth in Mangalore who are now counting the iron rods in Bellary.

Siddharamaiah's good administration making many oppositions to vomit jealous in the public.

Public People of Bangalore are saying During Kumarawamy regime he helped the public ,Farmers and was a good fellow compared to Congress/BJP . They say if he has handed over power to Yediyurappa congress/BJP would have been permanently in Opposition. Theres massive corruption in state now. They also say previous Yediyurappa regime was also corrupt. Congress/BJP must know 1000 lies does not make 1 truth . On the roads theres lot of kachara /rubbish.Looks like BJP/Congress corporators are sleeping .Why public again reelected them?

I am a BJP voter. However I am not approving the corrupt rule of previous BJP govt in the state. It was a nightmare for all sincere party people.Though BJP has got 100 seats in BBMP it does not mean that people of Bangalore have given full mandate to rule BBMP.There should not be another chance in near future for leaders of BJP like Asoka,Anantkumar,DVS to come to the fore/power centre.Everybody knows how much damage these leaders done to BJP.Though Congress is a known corrupt, present Siddu rule rule is not that much bad as far as corruption is concerned however he is a useless leader.Let Cong and JDS join hands to manage BBMP this and give BJP leaders a 'chakma'....Ashoka @ Co needs to be put a 'check' for welfare of the state and BJP.
