Kundapur: Several injured in bus-trailer accident at Trasi

Kundapur, Aug 31: Several persons were injured in an accident which took place between a trailer and a bus near the tourists' bungalow at Trasi-Maravanthe beach late on Monday August 31 night.

The private bus travelling from Byndoor towards Kundapur collided head-on with the trailer which was moving in the opposite direction.

The trailer driver, bus driver and passengers in the bus sustained minor injuries. All the injured were rushed to a hospital in Kundapur.

The vehicular movement on national highway 66 was completely affected due to the accident.
Gangolli police sub inspector Subbanna and his team helped to ease up the traffic and took the injured to the hospital with the help of locals.

The front portions of both the vehicles were completely damaged.

A case has been registered in Gangolli police station.

    people now Several times accidents happened between trasi to maravante after that also people were moving very fast.
    they people are didn't take any decision before accident, after that accident they take strictly decision even me also.............

    High time police check on speed of this vehicles which drive so fast Otherwise many unwanted accidents will happen and may be many innocent lives be lost Time for strict speed governance of private buses
