Bengaluru: Archbishop calls on governor at Raj Bhavan

Bengaluru, Sep 1: Archbishop Dr Bernard Moras called upon the governor Vajubhai Rudabhai Vala at Raj Bhavan on August 31. He was accompanied by the home minister K J George.


The Archbishop extended a warm invitation to the governor to St Mary's Feast scheduled to be celebrated on September 8 at the 127 year old St Mary's Basilica in Bengaluru. The governor while expressing his inability to attend due to pre-scheduled engagements recalled his pre-school years at St Mary's school in Gujarat. He assured the Archbishop he would attend future programs when invited. He wished the Archbishop and the feast day celebrations every success.

Chancellor and PRO Fr A S Anthonyswamy and secretary to the Archbishop Antony George Mahendran were also present for the meeting.
