Mangaluru, Sep 2: A readymade garment shop at Market Road in the city caught fire on the evening of Wednesday September 2, reportedly due to short circuit.

The shop, Bharath Collections, belongs to Hari Singh, and is located on the first floor of Jayanti complex.

Sources in the fire department said that the prima facie, the cause for the fire seemed to be short circuit.

Three fire tenders - two from Pandeshwar and one from Kadri - rushed to the spot.
