Ajman, Sep 3: Gulf Medical University, the region’s leading private medical university owned and operated by Thumbay Group, honored three leading surgeons from GMC Hospital, Ajman, with 'Award of excellence in healthcare' on September 2. Thumbay Moideen, founder president Thumbay Group presented the awards. Akbar Moideen Thumbay, director healthcare division of Thumbay Group and other members of the administrative team of Thumbay Group were present at the event.
The recipients of the awards were Dr Prashanth Hegde, administrative head and specialist – OBG, Dr Mohanad Mohamad Sultan, consultant – surgery, and Dr Mahmoud Farouk Mohamed Elmahdi, specialist - interventional cardiology. The awardees were honored in recognition of their exemplary skills and professional acumen in recently performed complex surgical procedures at GMC Hospital, Ajman.
