Qatar: Veterans’ Cricket League to hold annual CDC cricket tournament

Qatar, Sep 3: The Qatar Veterans’ Cricket League is starting the cricketing season with its annual 27th CDC Cricket Tournament 2015 on Friday September 11 at Qatar Cricket Complex, West Bay.

Construction Development Company (CDC) is sponsoring this prestigious annual tournament for the record 27th time. Saniv Jain, business development manager stated that his company has always supported sporting events and was pleased to note the multinational participation in the cricket tournament. He wished all participating teams and the organizers the very best.

At the draws the following was decided. Division – I has 17 participating teams. Teams participating in Pool A are Asian Cricket Club, Doha Motors, Al Jazeera Media Network, Delphi, Jaidah Motors.

Teams in Pool B are Qalco, Tulukoota, Al Shaqab Real Estate, Qatar Tec.

Teams in Pool C are Hanan XII, Serandeep-A, Carson Logistics, Engg Supplies.

Teams in Pool D are M Pallonji, Qatar Quarry, Master Blaster, Mumbai XII

Division – II has 14 participating teams. Teams participating in Pool A are Serandeep-A, Force India, MIC, Gulf Lights.

Teams in Pool B are Al Zaman Exchange, QVC, Al Khor Community, UP XII, Metabo.

Teams in Pool C are Al Fardan, CDC, Lovely Littles, Mitra Mandal, IIS.

The inaugural match will be between hosts CDC and Lovely Littles at 7.00 am on Friday September 11.
