Bengaluru couple found dead, one-year-old son spent two days with their bodies

Hyderabad, Sep 4 (IANS): A one-year-old child spent two days with the bodies of his parents, who are suspected to have committed suicide at their house here, police said on Friday.

The shocking incident came to light on Friday in Sai Prasanna Nagar neighbourhood in Kukatpally area.

Hearing the cries of the baby, neighbours entered the house and found him beside the bodies of his parents.

Manjunath, 30, and Rani, 25, were residents of Bengaluru and had been living here for a few months.

Police shifted the bodies to a government-run hospital for autopsy. Police suspect the couple died two days ago.

A police officer said the actual cause of the death will be known after the autopsy.

Moved by the plight of the child, neighbours arranged milk and gave him a bath. The relatives of Manjunath and Rani in Bengaluru were informed about the incident.
