Mangalore: News Guests at Pilikula - Tigress Gives Birth to 3 Cubs

Mangalore, Jun 29: The six-year-old tigress, Varada has given birth to three cubs at Wild Life Sanctuary located in Pilikula Nisargadhama, near here, on Thursday, Jun 28. Varada was brought from Tiger Safari at Shimoga when it was one year old.
The mother and the cubs are under the care of zoologist Vikram Lobo, Dr Lingappa from Mysore and animal care assistants, Uday, Dinesh, Kushalappa. The tigress and cubs are healthy while they are expected to open their eyes after a week.
