Mangaluru, Sep 7: The Ullal police have arrested six persons in connection to the recent murder of an auto driver at Natekal. However, two others, including the main accused, are still at large and police are trying to hunt them down.

Hidayath

Auto driver Hidayath was found murdered in his auto rickshaw on the morning of August 29 at Sankesh, Natekal. It was suspected that he was hit with a heavy stone on the night of August 28. The needle of suspicion had pointed at his first wife Fazila and her family members, and she herself was arrested two days later.

The arrested accused are Fazila's brother Fazil (25), resident of Ullal town, and Madani Nagar residents Luqman, Irfan, Khurshid, Jamsheer and Tanvez.

Prime accused Nisar and Naufal, both residents of Madani Nagar, are absconding.

Hidayath had married thrice. Even after their divorce and Fazila had married for a second time, it is said that Hidayath would visit her house and on the excuse of giving chocolates to her child, would trouble her. Her family had issued several warnings to Hidayath against visiting her. It is said that on the day of the murder too, Fazila's brother Fazil and relative Nisar had taken Hidayath to a secluded spot and assaulted him with the intention of giving him a warning, but a seriously injured Hidayath breathed his last.

Hidayath used to operate his auto in Thokkottu and on the night of August 28, accused Tanvez hired his auto to go to Natekal. Hidayath was taken to a secluded spot at Kukkudakatte near Sankesh and a group of eight led by Nisar and Fazil hit him with stones and sticks, before fleeing the spot.

The investigation is being done under the directions of police commissioner R Murugan, DCPs Shantaraj and Sanjeev Patil, ACP Kalyan Shetty, and led by Ullal inspector Savitra Tej, SI Bharati and other police personnel.

The toughest of the punishment should be meted out to the culprits. Will they be released on bail? You never know . Law is on their side.

So you justify killing just because they are frustrated in life? Life is beautiful if you come out the shell you are living in and look around. You can make it more lovable by your good deeds. you too need good guidance in life else you would lead the same path of the 6 killers.

As its an internal family matter donot give communal colour to this episode. Youths should shun violence and led an happy life with whatever they have at their disposal. Now all these people have to rot in jail. Had they been properly guided they would not have ventured to this crime world.

High handedness and cruelty of the first order. Some of the accused are already in the net and it is a question of time before the prime accused is also is apprehended and caught. Kudos to The Police Department

    What a tragedy
Girl found wrong person to fall in love against family wish and got married... when realized about his character... life became miserable... Divorced... The guy spoiled life of too many girls... Again came back to first wife when she already married with other guy and expecting a child..
Who should blame for this tragedy... Stupid girl or dishonest Hidayat... or Fazil and his friends
