Mangaluru, Sep 8: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal arrived in the city on Tuesday September 8, before leaving by road to Beltangady where he would be participating in a function on Wednesday September 9.

Kejriwal was accorded a warm welcome by members of Dakshina Kannada Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at Mangaluru International Airport on Tuesday night.

A person representing Kejriwal was about to address the media persons who gathered in large numbers, but reporters insisted that Kejriwal himself speak to them. The representative assured that Kejriwal would speak, but instead, the Delhi CM came to podium and went away all of a sudden without addressing the media. It is surmised that he was not in the best of health.

Incidentally, MLA Mohiuddin Bava happened to be at the airport, and on seeing the AAP leader, he approached and greeted Kejriwal.

The convocation is being organized at Amritavarshini Hall Dharmasthala at 10.30 am. Kejriwal will be conferring the degrees on 58 students who have completed Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences degree to 58 students and postgraduate degrees to ten students.

Dharmasthala Dharmadhikari, Dr D Veerendra Heggade, will preside over the function. State health and family welfare minister U T Khader, and MLA K Vasant Bangera are expected to participate.

Kejriwal will be paying obeisance to Lord Manjunatha Swamy on Wednesday morning, before meeting Dr Heggade and visiting Annapoorna dining hall. After the convocation, Kejriwal will inaugurate the 'Prukruti' students hostel meant for the girl students of the college at Ujire.
