Stephanie Sigman to star in vodka ad campaign

New York, Sep 11 (IANS): Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman, who is starring in the next James Bond movie “Spectre”, has been roped in for the ad campaign of global luxury vodka brand Belvedere.

Belvedere announced the launch of the campaign in celebration of its partnership with "Spectre", the 24th Bond film from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment here, read a statement.

Sigman, who plays the role of Estrella in the opening scene of “Spectre”, due for release in India on November 20, feels ordering a drink is not as easy as it is presumed to be.

“Ordering a vodka martini takes knowledge and self-assurance, which has been demonstrated effortlessly by James Bond throughout the years. His cool attitude and stylish sophistication have gone hand in hand with his choice of vodka martini. Belvedere is a great match,” Sigman said.

The television commercial, directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet, depicts a chain reaction creating the perfect martini without human interaction.

Photographers Rene & Radka, known for high-fashion and portrait photography, have also delivered an element of mystery and refinement to the still images.

Charles Gibb, president of Belvedere Vodka, noted that “James Bond is recognised as the most admired and influential tastemaker in the world”.

“We’re delighted that Belvedere is partnering with 'Spectre', our largest global partnership to date,” Gibb said.
