Bhopal, Sep 11 (IANS): The ongoing 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan is being participated in by 116 representatives from different parts of the world, an official said on Friday.
Speaking to reporters, spokesperson of the ministry of external affairs Vikas Swarup said 116 participants from 39 countries have come to attend the World Hindi Meet.
Asked how many of them are from the embassies, he didn't reply.
Sources said most of the people participating in the ongoing meet are from the embassies.
It may be noted that MEA had initially stated that 700 journalists, 1,540 guests and 2,100 special guests attended the inaugural function of the World Hindi Meet.
