Pakistani leader shot dead


Islamabad, Sep 12 (IANS): A leader of Pakistan's Nat­i­onal Party (NP) and a member of the Gogadan union cou­ncil, has been shot dead in Balochistan's Turbat city.

Unidentified assailants dragged Jan Ahmed Da­­­shti out of his vehicle and fired at him, Dawn online quoted the police sources as saying.

District Council chairman Fida Hussain Dashti said Dashti's death was a huge loss to the NP and demanded the immediate arrest of his killers.
