Modi condoles deaths in MP blasts

New Delhi, Sep 12 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday condoled the loss of lives in the twin explosions in Madhya Pradesh's Jhabua district.

At least 35 people were killed and over 50 injured in the blasts. The deafening explosions were so powerful that they reduced buildings to rubble and left many bloodied and wounded.

"Extremely pained at the loss of lives due to the cylinder blast in Jhabua. My deepest condolences to the families of the deceased," Modi said in a statement issued here.

"I wish all those injured a speedy recovery," he said, adding that the state government was monitoring the situation closely.
