Kasargod: On duty railway gatekeeper hit by train, dies

Kasargod, Sep 12: After a train hit him hard, a railway gatekeeper died of injuries near Palla railway gate in the city on Friday September 11.

K Gangadhar (49), son of the late Koraga from Kudlu Ramadasnagar, who was on duty at the gate, lost his life in the accident.

Gangadhar had worked as the president of the town unit of Southern Railway Mazdoor Union in the past. He has left behind wife and two children.
