New Delhi, Sep 12 (IANS): It was a sunny Saturday in the national capital with the maximum temperature recorded four notches above the season's average at 37.8 degrees Celsius. The Met Office has forecast similar weather on Sunday.
"The sky will remain clear on Sunday. The maximum and minimum temperature is likely to hover around 37 and 26 degrees Celsius respectively," the India Meteorological Department said.
Saturday's minimum temperature was recorded at 25.7 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the season.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 36.0 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 25.5 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
