New Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS): Leading auto major Mahindra group on Monday forayed into the growing e-commerce space by launching M2ALL.com to sell its range of products and services.
"We have begun taking bookings for our new TUV 300 compact sports utility vehicle on the digital platform (M2ALL.com) to offer enhanced buying experience to customers," Mahindra group president V.S. Parthasarathy said in a statement here.
The $17-billion Mumbai-based diversified group makes tractors and utility vehicles and offers IT services, financial services and vacation ownership.
It also has presence in agribusiness, aerospace, components, consulting services, defence, energy, industrial equipment, logistics, real estate, retail, steel, commercial vehicles and two-wheelers.
"Our digital platform combines speed and convenience of transactions on all our products and services across verticals," Parthasarathy said.
The portal will also host products and services of other manufacturers and sellers for optimising offerings to greater number of customers.
"Customers can browse over 400 products and services but currently order about 40 of them, including vehicles, real estate, gensets, and two-wheelers among others," said Parthasarathy.
The portal works on the 'click-and brick' model with products ordered online and its partners, including dealers, distributors, and logistics teams delivering them.
It also offers group firms and external sellers e-commerce technology, online catalogue management services, integration with payment gateways, backend integration with business ERP systems and support services like digital marketing, data analytics, logistics and call centre services.
