Dubai, Sep 16: Thumbay Hospital, the 150 bed ultra-modern private teaching hospital in the city owned and operated by Thumbay Group, will be conducting a three-day ‘Eye and dental camp’, from September 17 to 19.

The camp aims to increase awareness and promote eye and dental health among the public. The camp offers free consultation with expert dentists as well as a range of dental procedures such as filling, cleaning, extraction, braces and whitening at discounted costs. It also offers consultation with accomplished eye-specialists at AED 130, which includes IOP testing, fundus evaluation, slit lamp evaluation and computerized eye testing. The camp will particularly cater to patients with eye-related conditions such as cataract, diabetic retinopathy, hypertensive retinopathy, allergic eye disease, red eye, glaucoma, short/long sightedness, difficulty in night driving, photophobia etc. Retinal scan for diabetic eye screening will also be available.
