Meat ban can't be forced down people's throats: Supreme Court

New Delhi, Sep 17 (Agencies) : Refusing to interfere with a Bombay High Court order limiting the ban on the sale of meat on Thursday, the Supreme Court said it is not an issue that could be forced down people's throats.

"Matters like these must be handled with tolerance and compassion," the apex court said while rejecting a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by a Jain group challenging the Mumbai High Court's decision to stay the ban on sale of meat on Thursday.

"If the Maharashtra government has any objection to the High Court order, it must approach the Supreme Court," the ruling said.

On Monday, the Bombay High Court had granted a stay on the controversial ban on sale of meat in Mumbai on September 17, but declined to lift the bar on animal slaughter. The court was hearing a PIL filed by Bombay Mutton Dealers' Association challenging the ban imposed in the wake of Jain community's Paryushan festival of fasting.

A similar ban has been imposed in the adjoining Mira-Bhayander and Navi Mumbai municipal corporations in Thane district, but the High Court said it was not concerned about it as nobody from there has challenged the ban in those cities.

This will be the result if BJP or BAN Janata Party comes to power in state!. Why should other people suffer just because one section is doing something connected to their religion!?. Tomorrow every religion will ask for one or the other thing to be banned for their religious ceremonies!. Next week Bakrid is coming and now will the government ask even vegetarian people to cut a goat to respect Muslims sentiments!?. Will the government ban meat during lent season, Good Friday of Christians!?. Will the government ask every citizen to sacrifice a animal during Hidnu's Kali ma festival!?. Where is the end to this!?. They also banned Maggi which we thought was for genuine reasons but now its very clear that it was orchestrated by Baba Ramdev to facilitate the release of his atta noodles which he did last week!. He also hinted Kellogs corn flaks is the next target!. This government's image has already eroded completely and after so many negative things and many more U-turns!. People of Karnataka, be ready for bans if you elect BJP in the next elections!

When I paid a visit to a Jain Temple in 1971 at Mumbai, I was surprised to see the dozens of rats running around. To please the Jain community for filling the vote banks, the Modi Government may enact a law to have 'rat pet" in every home in India. None of the politicians will follow the ruling, but will try to impose on the defenseless public voted for the politicians as the great humanitarians.

The Feku Govt at centre and their state Govts have failed in fulfilling their poll promises, to divert the attention all these bans. This FEKU Govt does not have class, their ministers have shown their capacity and class in all recent decisions development, what level they can think of.I would say in a nut shell this GOVT is incompetent on all fronts, be it relation with PAKISTAN, ECONOMY, SOCIAL UP LIFTMENT, PEACE/HARMONY IN SOCIETY...... .They are fit for local gundagardi, small cheap decisions like ban on food, removal of stamps,re organise memorials, all which are irrelevant and not need of the hour, which in nowhere will bring ACHE DIN to common people as promised by 56 inch.
Pakistan is openly challenging Mr.56 inch not a word is uttered from his mouth till date.

Indeed a very classy cabinet in New Delhi! How many with proper educational qualification to run their ministerial portfolios and how many with fake degrees?

Some of the names you have mentioned have very serious crime record they are ruling India, then how events can be smoothly operated?

The heaven promised deity is flying around the world breaking all previous records and enjoying the higher elevation closer to heaven.

How many jobs are created-how much money has landed in India as FDI-how much money has evaporated in stocks and how much money has been pulled out by the foreign investors? Finally, how much inflation in food price? The promised glorious day will reach India in 25 years as promised by Amith Shaw, but how many people will be dying before we see the promised land?

The biggest accomplishment of the BJP party is enacting total beef ban in two States with prison terms and inflating the price of beef all over India. Also, now blaming the former PM of India for the economy malady faced with India, keenly undertaken by Mr. Modi and Arun Jaitley.

Taking off the food from the meal plate all across India is the biggest accomplishment of the BJP Government.

Let them practice their own religion, but why they have to interfere in others affairs?. If it is something against public interest or against humanity we have to support them, but some birds and animals given by god for man's food only.It is shame that they are approaching apex court against the hight court stand as if there is grave violation.

Is it not a clear case of harassing and showing high handedness of communal political parties like BJP backed by RSS. On top of this these parties are foul crying that they are been threatened and Hindus are in the receiving end. A majority is bullying a meager, peace loving minority just for vote bank. For ages nobody was affected and nobody raised this issue everybody was living peacefully but now of recently all these divisions. If you keep doing this the majority of sensible and level headed Hindus will give you befitting reply. They very well know your hidden agenda. Because you don't have religion and don't care for religion, the only thing you care for is power and money.

Maha govt has become kitchen government. This government is running only on what to cook, eat etc.Come on Maharashtra ,u need to focus on larger issues.First ban liquors, tobacco as they are harmful to health.Look at farmers,Bombay high court has lot of heinous crime cases to be solved ,they have plenty of time in adapting new eating rules. The world is laughing at you.
During Ramadhan we too can send memorandum to close restaurants at lunchtime. But we donot coz we are more tolerant and humanly enough to control our hunger.Seems like Bharathiya Janwar party is busy protecting animals so that in 2019 elections they get votes from animals.
HUMANS WILL EXTINCT VERY SOON I GUESS IN MAHARASHTRA.

Finally, those States in India being ruled by the BJP will be eating their own vomiting due their blind-sided arrogance playing with the food of the masses.

They did this devious " meat " trick through destroying the businesses of thousands of people, taking away the food from the table for political mileage.

The Modiji led Government is keeping quite addressing these burning questions arising in many parts of the nation affecting millions of people like watching a comedy show.

Beef ban in some States with severe jail terms and monetary punishment, whereas other States are in completion to export beef.

What a travesty of justice is that in a so called democratic country? The whole world is watching like comedy parade of India, and I hope and pray that the Supreme Court of India will put a stop to this modern political insanity of the 21st century.

    Saturday, September 12, 2015

Are we living in India's Chaaiwaala’s Fools and Feku's paradise???!!!

Those who don't want to eat pork meat let them refrain from it and don't eat.

Those who don't want to eat cow meat let them refrain from it and don't eat.

Those who wanted to eat both the pork meat and cow meat let them eat it and have it plentifully.

However kindly don't impose your beliefs and religion upon both the Beef meat and Pork meat eaters.

Why we the Indian nationals are banned to eat Indian meat and only the Foreign National's who are not Indian nationals allowed eating Indian cow and bovine meat. '

If your religious sentiments are wounded, I am daily wounded from my cow meat which is my life living necessity.

I NEED INDIAN JUDGES JUSTICE FROM THE UNBIASED JUDGES JUSTICE TO INDIAN NATIONAL CITIZENS.

    UNQUOTE.

I HOPE THE UNBIASED JUDGES READ MY COMMENT IN THE DAIJIWORLD.
