Sharif to address UNGA on September 30


Islamabad, Sep 17 (IANS): Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the annual United Nations General Assembly session on September 30 and details of the visit are still being chalked out, the Foreign Office said here on Thursday.

"The prime minister's speech before UNGA is being finalised," Foreign Office spokesman Syed Qazi Khalilullah said at a weekly news briefing.

Qazi Khaliullah said Pakistan wanted to become member of Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) and efforts were underway in this regard.
