Victim-Lancy D'Souza

They are Deekshith (27) from Thokkottu, Rathan (22) from Adyarupadavu, Sujan (25) from Mogaveerapatna, Vivek (26) from Someshwara, and Pavan (19) from Kapikad.

Lancy D’Souza, who was returning home to Thokkottu on his scooter after work, on Thursday September 10, was hit on purpose by the Swift car in which the accused had arrived. The group had tried to kill D’Souza with lethal weapons.

The main accused in the incident, Someshwar resident Keshava alias Choni, Prashanth, and Rakshit are still absconding. The attempt on the life of D’Souza was done reportedly to avenge the killing of Hindu Jagarana Vedike leader Yathish Poojary. Lancy D’Souza is believed to be one of the accused in that murder.
