Doha, Sep 20: Hanan cricket club, a vibrant Cricket team from Doha Qatar is all set to host its first GCC level soft ball cricket tournament at Qatar.
The draw ceremony of the '1st Hanan Premier League' was held at Grand Qatar Palace hotel-Doha on 16. The tournament will be held at West End Park Cricket Stadium from September 25 to 26.
M Chidananada of M Pallonji Qatar, Ashmathi Ali from Golden Trading and Abdulla Mono from Euro Parts were present on the dias.
M Ravi Shetty, President of Tulu Koota Qatar, M Iqbal Manna, Prominent Community Activists and the host captain of Henan Cricketers Abdul Khader were also present.
Ravi Shetty addressed the gathering and congratulated the host Henan Cricketers for organizing the cricket tournament at Qatar first of its kind with invited GCC teams.
Team Captains and Managers of the participating teams were present on the occasion.The 12 teams have been divided into four groups of three, with the top 8 progressing into the quarter final stage of the tournament.

Abdul salam and Furqan explained rules and regulations of tournaments and Tufail Mateen compered the programme.
