Ours is wise government: BJP tells Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, Sep 20 (IANS): Reacting to Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi's 'suit boot ki sarkar' jibe, BJP leader and union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Sunday said the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led administration was a "wise government" that works for the country's development.

IT and Communications Minister Prasad also said the central government was "neither a government of suit case nor of suit boot (for the rich)".

"Our government is a wise government which works for the development of the nation," he told reporters here.

Gandhi accused the central government of being "suit boot ki sarkar" during a farmers' rally in the national capital on Sunday.
