Modi greets Japan PM on his birthday


New Delhi, Sep 21 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted his Japanese counterpart, Shinzo Abe, on his birthday.

"Wishing my friend, Shinzo Abe, a very happy birthday. I pray for his long life and good health. Have always cherished my interactions with him," the prime minister said in his message.

Abe is the president of Liberal Democratic Party and won the 2014 general elections.
