Riyadh, Sep 21 (IANS/WAM): The Saudi interior ministry has confirmed that two of its border control officials were killed after they were fired at from Yemeni territory, the media reported on Monday.
In an official statement, a security ministry spokesman said that a border patrol vehicle came under heavy fire from inside Yemeni territory on Sunday morning, reported the Saudi Press Agency, SPA.
The spokesman added that Saudi authorities responded to the aggressors and brought the situation under control.
