Pakistani reporter Chand Nawab of Bajrangi fame assaulted by cops


Karachi, Sep 22 (IT) : Pakistan TV journalist Chand Nawab, who shot to fame after his piece to camera (PTC) went viral to such an extent that it even prompted Bollywood director Kabir Khan to add a character in his blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan based on him, was beaten up along with his crew by Karachi Railway police.

Nawab, who works for Channel 92, was manhandled at Cantt Station in Karachi when he was on an assignment.
Reacting to the incident, Channel 92 said that Sindh minister Nisar Khuhro has taken notice of the incident and ordered inquiry into it.

In the Salman Khan starrer movie, Chand Nawab's character was portrayed by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
