Kundapur, Sep 26: Narayana Guru Yuvaka Mandala has conducted several programmes in society by silently showing the direction for poor families. Considering the hardships faced by poor families, the Mandala has so far got three poor couples married. A similar wedding was held by the Mandala on Friday September 25 at Narayana Guru Kalyana Mantapa.

The bride is Kodi resident Bharathi and the groom is Anegudde temple security guard Jagadish. The Mandala showed that poverty is not a curse, but it should be challenged.

Though the Billava Association holds such weddings every year, the members of the Yuvaka Mandala said that they had to hold the wedding separately like this as it came at an odd time. Well-known people in the society and elders arrived and blessed the couple.
