Boldness is all in the mind : Paoli Dam

Mumbai, Sep 26 (IANS): Dusky actress Paoli Dam, who's playing a bold character in “Yaara Silly Silly”, says that the concept of boldness is subjective and can be defined depending on the level of education one has attained.

"It's all in the mind. The entire understanding of the reality -whether it is bold or not bold, depends on the education and experience of a particular person,” Paoli told IANS in an exclusive interview.

The actress says that education plays a huge role in building a better society for women.

“For the society to grow and be bold, it's important for the education level to be high. Only in an educated society, a woman can come to the top position. If the society is not educated enough, it doesn't make a difference if one is bold in life or in cinema,” she said.

“"The more experience you have in life, you'll understand boldness more and vice versa. You can experience it only if you have that sense of education,” she added.

This is not the first time Paoli will be seen in a bold image as she played such roles in her previous films including “Hate Story”.

She was also the part of frontal nudity scene along with Anubrata Basu in Bengali film, “Chatrak” which had stirred a controversy in 2011.

“Yaara Silly Silly” directed by Subhash Sehgal is jointly produced by Reena Bhushan Suri and Neena Subhash Sehgal under the banner 'Movee Dreems'.
